Spend Local - A Little Spend, a Big Effect
Created to launch the Spend Local Card, a government initiative designed to revive Northern Ireland’s non-digital economy after lockdown, The Knock-On Effect campaign highlighted how every purchase had a ripple effect, that supporting local business also supported local communities, benefiting friends, family and neighbours.
By capturing both the individual and collective impact of using the card and showing how small choices created big changes, we made the message simple, human and hard to ignore.
The results spoke for themselves. A total of 1,399,051 cards were issued, 99.6% were activated, and £136.5 million (97.6% of the total) was spent, giving a powerful boost to the post-Covid economy.
