Macarooney

In 2013, we had an idea for an England World Cup song, an idea so irresistible, that we spent the build-up to Brazil 2014 writing, singing, choreographing, dancing, recording, producing and filming...the Macarooney.

Created on our own initiative and on behalf of the charity StreetLeague - www.streetleague.co.uk - the Macarooney proved more popular than any other England World Cup song, beating Gary Barlow and Omid Djalili’s star-studded video by a mile.

Played on UK national radio, covered in national and local press and online as far afield as Romania and Japan, it was even adopted by schools as part of their Sports' Day activities. To date it has been viewed over 225,000 times and in over 170 countries. Best of all, it raised a few bob for Streetleague too.

If only Woy’s Boys had gone further in the tournament…
